It is still unanimous. ZERO newspapers/magazines have endorsed Trump. The same 41 publications that have announced endorsements this year split four years ago as 15 for Obama, 15 for Romney, and 11 that didn't endorse. Now it is 28 for Clinton, 6 for Johnson, two that have said they cannot support Trump, and 5 that won't endorse.

Will these defections convince anyone? One probably wouldn’t. Being so consistent might.
What do these defections mean? Most of us are still waiting to vote. These newspapers are now announcing their final decision, so it is much like them going into voting booth. Polls show about half of voters saying they will vote for Trump; but when it comes to a final decision in a polling place, will they do the same as all these newspaper editors they normally agree with?
